I am so sorry to read this news. I came across Katy often when in London – she was a lovely woman and a great advocate. I remember going to one of the first ever meetings for FDAC and she asked DJ Crichton a number of difficult questions (no doubt concerned about barristers possibly losing some of their cases as result of the collaborative approach of FDAC) which he answered with such grace and clear and genuine fondness for Katy.
