I have known Katy for my entire career. I have lost count of the number of cases we had together over the years. It was always a delight to see her. She would grin, crack a joke, then get stuck into whatever needed sorting out. No nonsense, fair, pragmatic, realistic, kind and not to be trifled with. Any day at court with Katy was always a good day. The family bar has lost one of its best. I will miss her greatly. My thought are with her family and her colleagues at Coram. Oliver Jones
