Maria 6th April 2021

I first met Katy when she was doing her articles in a north London law firm many years ago. I was blown away by her humour, strength of character, intelligence and love of adventure. I encouraged her to learn to ride a motorbike as she loved being a pillion on mine (wearing the necessary leathers also appealed to her!) and so she added another skill to her already broad skill set. Over the intervening years we kept in touch and before lockdown had some giggly evenings over gin martinis in her local distillery. I can’t quite believe that she is no longer with us. My thoughts are with Marcia, Robert, Laura and all of Katy’s family - a great light has gone out. Sending love. Maria H
