Katy was a true inspiration to anyone lucky enough to cross her path. Pretty much invented the role of freelance solicitor advocate in the 1990s and inspired me to follow in her footsteps to cross the line to 'the dark side' at the Bar. A truly wonderful advocate who was a street-fighter-bare-knuckle lawyer to her core. Gone far too soon and leaves a huge gap in every possible respect
